Using different heading styles can make everything about your content stand out and give your viewers a better visual representation and what the more important points of your post or page really are.
Search engines also use headings differently than normal text as well. So not only will using them help your site appear more organized and interesting, but it may also help drive traffic as well.
To get started, make sure your post editor is showing the second row of formatting options also known as the kitchen think by clicking the show kitchen sink button at the far right of the content toolbar. From there you’ll see the default style is paragraph. Bring your cursor to the line or paragraph in which you’d like to modify and then use the dropdown menu to select a different style. You can choose from six different heading styles which are great to use for highlighting points in your content that you’d like to emphasize or for separating topics on the same page.
Heading 1 would be the largest and most important. Heading 2 is usually slightly smaller and a little less important and so on and so forth. When you’re finished modifying the headings, go ahead and click Publish or Update to save your changes.
